OPEN for Commissions!

Tue Mar 31, 2009, 7:42 PM
I've been thinking of doing this for a long time, so I'm finally putting my plan into effect... Especially since it's the home stretch of the semester, only five weeks left.

And lucky you guys-- Since I'm just starting out and new with this commission thing, I've decided to currently mark up some of my more expensive prices at discount... Discount! Believe it!

Here's what I've got to offer:

FULL BODY LINES
What you get: A full-body pencil sketch of your character!
Default price: $5.00
About: I will combine multiple characters into one picture! ($9.00 for two, $14.00 for three, etc.)

BLACK AND WHITE BUST
What you get: A pencil or digital bust of your character, with some shading!
Default price: $5.00
About: I'll probably use whichever medium seems best to me unless specified. Again, I also do multiple characters!

COLOR BUST
What you get: A bust of your character, digitally painted and textured, with background color/texture to boot!
Default price: $15.00
About: Much nicer than the simple bust. Multiple characters available.

FULL BODY COLOR
What you get: A digitally or hand-colored full-body illustration of your character, with or without some simple background ornaments.
Default price: $20.00
About: It's like the bust on crack. If you request multiple characters, I'll subtract $5 from the total!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW...!
1. How do I get started, and how do I pay?
Note me! After that, I recommend PAYPAL because of the secure transactions, but I'll also take money orders by mail if you don't have access or trust that sort of thing. No sweat.
2. Will there be any variation regarding prices?
Default prices are just that - default. I would only suggest a different price for a piece if I felt that the amount of work or complexity of the piece was worth more than the baseline.
3. Can I haggle with you?
Sure! Make me an offer.
4. Should I give you references to work off of?
By all means, if at all possible. If not, then make sure you're clear about what you want.
5. Is there any subject matter you're not willing to do?
If you want something over the PG-13 limit, it's fine as long as you can prove you're not ridonk young.
6. Can I make special requests, specifications or suggestions?
Feel free. If it's in my power to do it, I'll do it.
7. How involved can I get with the process?
I'll probably show you some of the preliminary work on some of the bigger and more important projects, just to make sure it passes an approval check, but the easiest way to avoid a need to do this is to tell me what you want if you're looking for something really specific. If not, I'm fine going with my instincts.
8. How long is this likely to take?
I'll need full payment before starting to make sure I don't get jipped, so obviously commissions that have been paid off will get priority. Of course, complicated projects will take longer. I work on things until I'm satisfied with them, although if a piece is urgent I'll definitely try to accommodate.
9. Can I commission something that isn't on this list?
Definitely. It can and has been done. Note me.
